Job summary

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Multi-Systems PCU in Clermont, FL. This full-time night-shift role requires a graduate of an approved school of nursing with active Florida RN licensure and BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC as required for certain areas.

One year RN experience preferred, PCU experience strongly preferred. You will work in a high-acuity setting, collaborating with physicians and the health care team to deliver expert patient care and ensure safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains Florida RN licensure or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients with complex needs and high-intensity interventions.
• Monitors equipment and interprets cardiac/respiratory data to inform patient care.
• Observes and responds to changing patient conditions; communicates with physicians and team.
• Develops individualized care plans and evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Delegates appropriately and collaborates with the health care team to support patient safety.
