Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse to join an interdisciplinary care team that delivers high-quality, individualized patient care. The role is anchored in evidence-based practice and Wellstar's professional practice model, with emphasis on patient and family engagement and safety.

Requirements include an ADN, BLS and ACLS certifications, an RN license in Georgia, and at least 1 year of direct patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree - Nursing Required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS.
• Georgia Registered Nursing License (RN) or a qualifying multi-state compact license.
• Minimum 1 year direct patient nursing care experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation and evaluation) with evidence-based practice.
• Provides patient-centered care respecting age, gender, disease, and cultural diversity.
• Partners with patient and family, supports bedside shift report and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Coordinates safe, quality patient care through effective communication and documentation.
• Supports performance improvement and shared governance across care teams.
