Job summary

Jersey City Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical-Surgical Unit-I. This role requires an active NJ RN License and a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. The RN will work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with every other weekend required.

The position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $47.85 to $67.04, depending on experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months from date of hire.
• Complete 8 hours of continuing education in cerebrovascular disease annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with medical staff.
• Implement the Hospital's Mission and goals through established policies.
• Administer age specific professional nursing care to patients.
