Job summary

Jersey City Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical Unit-I in Jersey City, NJ. The role is night-shift, part-time, with an hourly pay range of $47.85–$67.04. The RN will provide patient-centered care, collaborate with physicians, and participate in performance improvement activities.

A NJ RN license or multi-state license with NJ endorsement is required, plus BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire. Schedule includes every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Preferred: Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and demonstrated writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff.
• Implement hospital policies, procedures and performance improvement activities.
• Administer age-appropriate nursing care on an assigned unit.
• Assess age-specific patient needs and determine treatment modalities.
