Job summary

Jersey City Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical Unit-I in Jersey City. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care during the night shift, under the NJ Nurse Practice Act, and collaborating with medical staff to meet patient needs.

The position requires a BSN or above, an active NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS within six months, and ongoing cerebrovascular CE. Part-time hours, weekend rotation, and competitive hourly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Continuing education in cerebrovascular disease annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with medical staff.
• Follow NJ State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Implement mission and goals through established procedures.
• Deliver age-appropriate nursing care within an assigned unit.
