Job summary

Jersey City Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical Unit-I in Jersey City, NJ. This part-time, night-shift position offers an hourly wage range and requires active NJ RN licensure with ACLS and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality nursing care, collaborating with physicians and staff, and adhering to hospital policies while meeting state regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification within 6 months from date of hire.
• Complete 8 hours of continuing education annually in cerebrovascular disease.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with medical staff.
• Follow NJ State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assess age-specific needs and plan treatments accordingly.
