Job summary

Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, NJ, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical Unit-I to join our night shift team (7:00pm–7:00am). The ideal candidate is a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a NJ RN license and BLS; ACLS within 6 months from hire is required.

This is a part-time, hourly position with diverse patient care responsibilities. The hospital emphasizes patient-centered care, ongoing education, and adherence to state nursing practice standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Preferred: Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and demonstrated writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff.
• Follow Hospital policies, procedures and performance improvement activities.
• Deliver age-appropriate nursing care within the NJ Nurse Practice Act.
