Job summary

System Support seeks a Registered Nurse for the Regional Referral Center in Dayton, Ohio. This part-time night shift (7:00pm–7:30am, 48 hours per pay) combines clinical assessment, transfer coordination, and front-line leadership for the Access Call Center.

You will guide Access Center coordinators, oversee alerts (Stroke, AMI, hip fracture, sepsis), coordinate transfers, bed placement, and discharge flow, while collaborating with physicians and hospital teams to ensure safe, timely patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
• Valid Ohio RN license and current BLS certification at time of hire.
• Minimum 3 years of acute care hospital RN experience; ED/ICU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trained RN overseeing and supporting all roles within the Regional Referral Center Access Call Center.
• Provide leadership to Access Center coordinators and guide admission decisions.
• Oversee system alerts (Stroke, AMI, hip fracture, sepsis) and ensure rapid notification to caregivers and physicians.
• Coordinate all calls, paging, consults, direct admits, and transfers for Premier Health.
• Manage bed placement, discharge processes, and rapid transfer coordination with physicians and other teams.
