Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Edina, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse for a fast-paced department focusing on teamwork and patient-centered care. The RN will participate in daily huddles with RNs, MDs, Social Work and PT/OT to ensure aligned patient goals and timely response to call lights, while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

The role involves night shifts (11p-7:30a), 8-hour shifts, and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• MN Registered Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Collaborate with patient, family and health team to develop a nursing care plan.
• Develop individualized plans based on age and cultural considerations.
• Evaluate care and patient response to interventions and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families to promote safe care.
