Job summary

The University of Minnesota Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Hospital Observation unit 1B on overnight shifts. This .75 FTE position offers 12-hour shifts with every third weekend rotation and a comprehensive benefits package.

The RN will assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for adult patients and coordinate with the health care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MN RN License
• BLS required
• AD required
• BSN or higher preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Coordinate care with health care team and delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures and MN Nurse Practice Act
