Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery, Mom/Baby (Nursery) and NICU, mostly night shifts with some days as needed. A BSN is required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.

Montana RN license and BLS, PALS, NRP and AWHONN fetal monitoring within specified timelines are required. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, delivering evidence-based care, coordinating with the care team, and supervising LPNs/CNAs.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current Montana RN license and BLS certification required.
• PALS required within 9 months of hire; NRP within 12 months; AWHONN fetal monitoring within 12 months.
• Preferred: national certification in area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients and team.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences and follow guidelines.
