Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a mostly night shift in Labor & Delivery with NICU and Mom/Baby exposure. The role demands BSN within four years or proven long acute care experience, plus current Montana RN licensure and BLS.

You will assess patient needs, coordinate care with the health team, and supervise LPNs/CNAs while following unit policies. A strong team is essential for safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current Montana RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• BLS certification; PALS within 9 months, NRP within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
