Job summary

Intermountain Health in Montana is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night-shift position spanning Labor & Delivery, Mom/Baby and NICU. The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, coordination with the health team, and adherence to evidence-based practices.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, MT RN license, and current BLS; PALS/NRP and AWHONN fetal monitoring are required within defined timelines. Prior OB/NICU/L&D experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN Degree from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current Montana RN license and BLS certification on hire.
• PALS, NRP and AWHONN fetal monitoring required within specified timeframes.
• National certification in area of practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients’ physical and psychological needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients and families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively; develop treatment plans.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs; participate in team conferences.
