Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide general nursing care across acute care settings, coordinating care from assessment through discharge. The RN will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs, and participate in safety and quality initiatives within the Observation Unit 1, with responsibilities around 24/7 operations.

Minimum qualifications include an Ohio RN license (multi-state compact acceptable), BLS

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license in good standing (or compact state).
• BLS certification.
• BSN required within 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/diagnosis: perform initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes identification/planning: document planned nursing interventions.
• Implementation/evaluation: execute interventions and evaluate patient responses.
• Leadership: participate in process improvements for quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Operations: support 24/7 unit operations and coordination of care.
