UPMC Altoona is seeking a RN Staff Nurse for 7E Neurology. This is a .9 full-time night shift with rotation and weekend/holiday rotation, totaling about 36 hours per week. Shifts run 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and the position is union represented (SEIU).

Qualifications

• RN with valid license and current practice.
• Experience in neurology or acute care preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and document procedures, administer meds and IV therapy.
• Assess and reassess patient needs every eight hours or as needed.
• Develop and update care plans, involve families in planning.
