Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for the Mother Baby unit on a 13-week night assignment in Colorado. The role involves caring for postpartum patients and high-risk obstetric populations, including antepartum context with fetal monitoring experience.

Candidates must have RN licensure, BLS/NRP certifications, and be able to perform various clinical tasks such as magnesium, insulin, and heparin drips, as well as assist with phototherapy and breastfeeding support.

Qualifications

• Postpartum care experience and nursing skills.
• Fetal monitoring experience and newborn assessment.
• Support breastfeeding and parent education in postpartum setting.

Responsibilities

• Care for postpartum patients not requiring ICU care.
• Assist newborns not requiring NICU care and provide phototherapy support.
• Administer magnesium, insulin and heparin drips; operate PCA/PCEA pumps.
• Support breastfeeding and parental education.
• Chart and document in required systems; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Care for 1:3 couplets or up to 6 patients depending on unit needs.
