Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking an RN for the Medical Unit 4S on a part-time, 12-hour night shift. The role involves hands-on patient care, documentation, and patient advocacy in a fast-paced 10-bed unit serving adults and geriatric patients.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, valid BLS, and is willing to establish Idaho residency within 60 days. Three 12-hour night shifts over a two-week pay period with rotating weekends are required.

Qualifications

• A current RN license is required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• At hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team, assessing and planning care.
• Maintains accurate documentation and serves as a patient advocate.
• Administers medications and treatments and helps educate patients and families.
