Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH is seeking a registered nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in diverse, acute care settings. The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs following the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a focus on safety and high reliability. Night shift, 36 scheduled hours per week in Medical Unit 2.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification
• BSN degree

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Perform initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Document planned nursing interventions to meet patient needs.
• Participate in process improvements to improve clinical quality and patient satisfaction.
• Lead or contribute to a multidisciplinary team to revise care plans.
