Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking an experienced RN for Med Surg Unit 1 to provide direct nursing care to patients across the continuum. The role operates on a 36-hour weekly schedule with night shifts, contributing to high reliability, safety, and quality in patient care.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient nursing care, while delegating tasks to LPNs and UAPs as appropriate and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from Ohio or a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification as required.
• BSN degree required with 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient needs; develop care plans.
• Perform and document nursing interventions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for optimal care.
• Lead process improvement to enhance quality and safety.
