Job summary

Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical unit on the night shift. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance to support your transition.

As a member of the Inova team, you will provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, advocate for patients, document care, and collaborate across disciplines to improve outcomes. BSN preferred, Virginia license required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year RN clinical experience in acute care.
• BSN from an accredited school; ADN with BSN completion within 5 years of start date acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments and interprets data trends.
• Forms individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Provides patient- and family-centered care; collaborates with the healthcare team.
• Advocates for patient rights and serves as a clinical resource to staff.
