Job summary

Intermountain Health in Butte, Montana seeks a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift on our medical floor. The unit handles respiratory, cardiac and sepsis cases with observation patients. We offer a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 where applicable and a comprehensive benefits package.

Applicants must hold a BSN (or complete within four years with exceptions for earlier service), possess Montana RN licensure, and be BLS certified. National certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current Montana RN license.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• National Certification in area of practice (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients' and families' best interests.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients and team.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
