Job summary

Wellstar Health System at Columbia County Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts to join our patient care team. You will provide compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting and contribute to a positive work environment.

As an RN, you will assess and plan patient care, implement procedures, and evaluate outcomes while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure safety and satisfaction for patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required upon hire.
• BLS certification required (any recognized standard).
• Experience in hospital patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, examines, and evaluates patients' conditions.
• Delivers care plan as outlined, applying independent judgment where appropriate.
• Collaborates with and communicates patient care plans with other staff.
• Maintains appropriate documentation of patient assessment, changes in condition, care delivered, and incidents.
• Supports quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
