Wellstar Health System at Columbia County Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shift (3/12s). You will work with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while ensuring a positive, supportive environment for patients and families.

The role emphasizes professional growth, adherence to safety and confidentiality, participation in performance improvement, and collaboration across disciplines to deliver high-quality care.

Formación

• Associates degree or diploma in nursing; bachelor’s preferred.
• Current RN license (single state) or multi-state compact (C-Compact).
• BLS certification required at hire.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors and evaluates patient conditions; assists with care plans to promote short- and long-term outcomes.
• Delivers care plans with independence where appropriate; communicates plans with staff.
• Prioritizes and coordinates daily patient flow and experience.
• Delivers safe, effective care per policies; documents assessments and changes.
• Listens to concerns; educates patients and families on health issues.
• Seeks opportunities to improve the work environment and processes.
• Maintains licenses and pursues ongoing training and professional growth.
• Mentors and supports junior staff; upholds confidentiality and safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Educación

Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred

RN license (single state) or RN-COMPACT

BLS certification (Instructor or Basic Life Support)
