Job summary

Summit Medical Center in Edmond, OK is seeking a licensed registered nurse for night shift to provide professional nursing care in medical and surgical units.

You will collaborate with a team, perform assessments, develop care plans, assist physicians, document accurately, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives. The role emphasizes patient comfort, safety, and efficient operations in a busy in-person environment with cross-training as staffing requires.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required or equivalent.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Oklahoma.
• CPR certification and BLS; ACLS within one year of employment.
• ICU and/or ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and adjust nursing care plans.
• Write initial nursing histories and assess patients’ conditions.
• Monitor patient status and report changes to relevant staff.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Document accurately in medical records and maintain reports.
