Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. You will administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's in Nursing with RN licensure (BLS required) and is fluent in English, with preferred Bachelor's degree and acute care experience.

Qualifications

• RN license required (Florida or multi-state)
• BLS certification required
• Night shift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments across multiple domains
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and educate patients/families
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure effective communication
• Document patient information accurately and timely in the medical record
• Monitor infection control and safety compliance to maintain a safe environment
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families
• Supervise and delegate tasks to healthcare staff as appropriate
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities
• Respond to code situations and provide necessary interventions
