Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a part-time night-shift Registered Nurse for Med Surg Unit 1. You will provide general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care in a 24/7 setting, with the RN responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating care.

Qualified candidates hold an Ohio RN license, BLS, and BSN is preferred with 5 years of experience; emphasis on safety, teamwork, and adherence to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license required and in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred after 5 years of employment.
• Eligible for weekend and night-shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings.
• Performs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patients.
• Delegates nursing tasks to LPNs and UAPs as per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and department policies.
• Active involvement in process improvement for quality, safety, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO).
• Contributes to safety, quality, and efficiency in daily nursing duties in a 24/7/365 department.
