Qualifications

• RN license valid in the state of Georgia
• BLS certification required at hire or within probation period
• 5+ years of direct patient care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based care.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care respecting patient diversity and culture.
• Collaborate with patient and family using bedside shift reports, rounds, and timely teaching.
• Adhere to current clinical practice standards.
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care across disciplines.
• Demonstrate teamwork and fiscal responsibility while supporting recruitment and retention.
• Support performance improvement and shared governance initiatives.
• Plan for patient care across the continuum in collaboration with care managers.
• Follow Wellstar Health System policies, standards, and safety requirements
