Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift to join an interdisciplinary team delivering individualized, high-quality patient care within a supportive governance framework.

The RN operates under the Wellstar Professional Practice Model, adheres to standards, and maintains licensure and BLS certification. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; a compact license is acceptable for multi-state practice.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• RN license (single state) or RN-COMPACT multi-state license.
• All certifications required upon hire (e.g., BLS).
• Less than 1 year direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based care.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care sensitive to age, gender, disease, and culture.
• Coordinate safe, high-quality care with effective interdisciplinary communication.
• Support governance, performance improvement, and adherence to standards and policies.
• Demonstrate teamwork and professional conduct in a busy clinical environment.
