Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse required.
• License/Certification/Registration: Current RN license (OK) and BLS certification upon hire; specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aligns behaviors with OU Health values and maintains nursing professional practice standards.
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned patient or group of patients.
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments; note changes in physician orders.
• Assists physician in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
• Serves as a resource for complex procedures and treatment modalities.
• Obtains and monitors physiologic data; observes and intervenes as needed.
