Job summary

OU Health's Med/Surg Edmond unit seeks a Registered Nurse II for the night shift (7p–7a) at Edmond Medical Center. The RN II will provide high-quality patient care on the 3rd/4th floors in a technology-enabled setting and participate in ongoing education and team-based care.

Minimum qualifications include an RN license in Oklahoma, 3–5 years of patient care experience, and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with BLS required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate RN with current Oklahoma license or compact license (OBN).
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• 3–5 years of patient care experience for RN II level.
• Ability to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced Med/Surg unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care on Med/Surg Edmond unit.
• Document patient responses and update physician orders accordingly.
• Administer medications and manage IV infusions as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain professional standards and OU Health values in daily practice.
