Job summary

Atrium Health Cleveland is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Nursing Med Surg: Clinical Decision Unit in North Carolina. This full-time night shift role (1845-0700) offers 36 hours per week, with a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

The RN will apply the nursing process, participate in quality initiatives, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care. A BSN is preferred, with BLS and state licensure requirements met.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN provides care.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• Delivers safe medications and therapies per clinical protocols; participates in patient flow and delegation.
