Job summary

Atrium Health Cleveland is seeking a dedicated registered nurse for the Med Surg 4W unit. This full-time role features a 36-hour week with a 7p shift, on a 32-bed unit delivering diverse medical and surgical care.

The team collaborates with hospitalists, neurology, nephrology, and other specialties to provide high-quality, compassionate care using advanced telehealth support. Ideal candidates have 1 year of clinical nursing experience, hold an RN license, and maintain BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in required state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans and collaborate with the care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and lead by example.
• Document accurately in the EHR and maintain patient records.
