Job summary

Fulton County Health Center in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med-Surg/CCU team. The RN coordinates and evaluates nursing care for an assigned number of acute care patients, in line with hospital standards and policies, and supervises LPN and HCT staff on the patient care team.

This full-time role shifts 7:00 PM–7:30 AM with every third weekend and holiday rotation. Requirements include current Ohio RN license and strong communication, collaboration, and

Qualifications

• Current RN license from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Specialized training in all areas except Med-Surg is preferred.
• Ability to provide nursing care requiring knowledge from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; adaptable to change.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Coordinate and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients, ensuring adherence to established standards of practice and ethics.
• Perform professional nursing duties, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Supervise and support LPN and HCT staff, providing guidance and ensuring quality care delivery.
• Exercise good judgment, innovation, and discretion in the care of patients.
• Maintain effective verbal communication and adapt to changes in patient care requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional growth and development, exploring personal behavior and practice improvements.
• Be flexible and responsive to staffing changes dictated by patient care needs.
