Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati is seeking a Med‑Surg Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional patient care, assess patient status, develop care plans and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment within a dynamic interdisciplinary team. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred); one year of RN experience (required); current RN licensure and BLS (preferred; ACLS acceptable).

You will collaborate with the care team, monitor vital signs and administer medications per Mercy Health

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• One year of RN experience (required).
• Current state licensure as an Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting and assess patient condition.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
• Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with Mercy Health policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
