Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire; BSN preferred.
• May require specific years of applicable experience to qualify (per department guidelines)

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per standards.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develops and executes patient plans of care as prescribed.
• Participates in department performance improvement activities.
• Supports longitudinal plan of care across units.
• Escalates patient safety concerns when needed.
• Participates in unit practice decisions and peer review.
