Job summary

Tidelands Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Staff/Med Surg I to join our night shift team. The RN will manage individualized patient care, collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team, and support patients and families through nursing interventions.

Qualifications include ADN with RN licensure in good standing in SC, with BSN/MSN preferred. Acute care experience and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EMR) for patient care and coordination.
• Strong communication with patients, families, physicians and staff.
• Ability to collaborate with the healthcare team to improve quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection per policy and care plan.
• Administer medications and therapies accurately and timely as ordered.
• Deliver nursing care with age- and culture-appropriate considerations.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Document assessments, interventions, and progress in the medical record.
• Initiate emergency resuscitation per ACLS/BLS protocols as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold respectful, nondiscriminatory care.
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes during shift handover.
