Job summary

Tidelands Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg team for night shift coverage. The RN will assess patients, administer treatments, educate families, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

ACLS/BLS basics are required, SC nursing license in good standing, and a degree in nursing from an accredited program is expected. The position emphasizes compassionate care, patient advocacy, and adherence to hospital policies while supporting hospital

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required and RN licensure in SC is mandatory.
• BSN degree preferred; CCNE/NLNAC accreditation noted as preferred.
• MSN degree preferred for advanced practice paths.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individualized patient assessments and prioritize data collection with the nursing plan.
• Deliver medications and therapies accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to needs and plan of care.
• Document patient condition, responses and progress to care.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
• Initiate emergency resuscitation measures per ACLS protocols when needed.
