Job summary

Tidelands Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department for night shift (12 hours) in Murrells Inlet, SC. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and supervise assigned staff in a fast-paced ED setting.

Qualified candidates will have ADN or BSN, SC RN license, and BLS/ACLS/TNCC/PALS as outlined in the job description. This is a comprehensive ED role within a leading regional health system.

Qualifications

• ADN required
• BSN preferred
• MSN preferred
• SC RN license required
• BLS certification required (within 30 days)
• ACLS required (within 1 year)
• TNCC required (within 2 years)
• PALS preferred
• ENPC preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct an individualized patient assessment, prioritizing data collection based on the patient’s immediate condition with collaboration from the healthcare team.
• Monitor and document patient condition, assessment findings and responses to nursing interventions.
• Perform treatments and administrations of medications per orders, policy, and timely delivery.
• Observe and interpret patient symptoms and communicate to the provider during SBAR reporting.
