Job summary

Tidelands Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Staff/Med Surg II to join our team in South Carolina. The position offers a day, 12-hour shift with opportunities to support acute care patients, families, and the healthcare team through comprehensive nursing care.

The ideal candidate will hold an ADN and/or BSN with preferred MSN, along with ACLS and BLS credentials. Prior acute care experience and strong communication skills are essential to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

ADN and BSN are required/preferred per policy.
MSN is preferred for advanced practice or leadership.
NLNAC or CCNE accreditation is specified for degrees.

Responsibilities

Conducts individualized patient assessments and prioritizes data collection per policy.
Monitor patient condition and provide care and advice with the team.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely.
Deliver nursing interventions with appropriate age and cultural care.
Educate patients and families based on individualized plans.
Document assessments, progress, and responses to care.
Initiate emergency resuscitation per ACLS and BLS guidelines.
Maintain confidentiality and deliver non-discriminatory care.
Communicate patient symptoms to providers during shift changes.
