Firelands Health in Sandusky, OH is looking for an RN or LPN-IV to join our psychiatric unit on the night shift (7p-7a). This full-time position offers a $5,000 retention bonus and a supportive, employee-focused culture.

You’ll administer nursing care per physician orders, perform assessments, educate patients and families, respond to emergencies, and advocate for high-quality care. Ohio license and CPR required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Current Ohio RN or LPN-IV license and CPR prior to patient care.
• Psychiatric Certification, Basic EKG, and ACLS preferred.
• Excellent organizational, customer service skills, and computer proficiency are a must.

Aufgaben

• Implements the nursing process with patients including carrying out physicians orders regarding diet, medication and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care.
• Performs assessments; monitors and ensures quality care through observation and evaluation; documents nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and reports findings to physicians as needed.
• Instructs patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans and related patient care directed towards a safe discharge.
• Responds to emergencies; maintains availability of medications and supplies; ensures cleanliness of equipment and environment.
• Demonstrate service excellence and acts as an ambassador and advocate for FRMC.
