Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time RN or LPN for night-shift coverage on a rotating two-week schedule from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

The role involves providing compassionate nursing care across our on-site medical center, including assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing services. You will work with residents and families, perform essential clinical duties, maintain infection control, and document care in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Must have an active RN license in the state and graduate from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 6 months experience as an RN.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and standards of practice.
• Promote residents' independence by establishing care goals and teaching residents/family members.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications per orders.
• Coordinate a holistic plan of care with the team.
