Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Full Time RN or LPN to join our night shift team, working 11pm–7:30am on a two‑week rotating schedule. This position is based in Parsippany‑Troy Hills, NJ.

You will provide high‑quality, resident‑centered care, document in the EMR, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and support residents and families with compassionate, holistic nursing care. Competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have an active RN license in the state they will practice.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• A passion for caring for seniors.
• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice.
• Promote resident independence by establishing resident care goals and teaching resident/family members to understand a resident's condition, medication, and self-care skills.
• Monitor a resident clinical and care conditions to identify changes and respond to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Work alongside care associates to perform routine nursing care as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate a comprehensive Holistic plan of care with the team.
• Support resident preferences in the EMR.
• Ensure documentation is current and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager
