Job summary

Sanford Health is hiring an Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts in a large rural health system across the upper Midwest. You will perform nursing care using the nursing process, coordinate assessments, and collaborate with an inter-disciplinary team to deliver resident-centered care.

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program is preferred; a Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred and RN licensure in the state is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident care, conduct assessments, provide education, and perform nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff as appropriate.
