Job summary

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, seeks an RN to provide individualized nursing care in a 12-hour night shift. The role involves collaboration with physicians and a wide range of inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Expect care across the full continuum, including prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis and follow-up. The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an unencumbered RN license;

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrates competency in nursing scope and standards across the patient care continuum.
• Cares for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Plans and coordinates care, conducts patient assessment, education, triage, and nursing interventions.
