Job summary

Parkwood Behavioral Health System, a UHS facility, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse House Supervisor for night shifts (12-hour: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.). The role supervises nursing staff on a designated unit and ensures delivery of compassionate, high-quality patient care in a 148-bed inpatient and outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate holds RN licensure in Mississippi, BLS/CPR certification, and prior supervisory experience. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
• Mississippi Board of Nursing licensure/valid multi-state license required.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes and crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery of nursing care on a designated unit.
• Oversee professional and support nursing staff during the shift.
• Ensure patient safety and quality of care during night shifts.
