Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required.
• Current ACLS certification from an approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.
• One (1) year of medical/surgical hospital experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Provide direct care and supervise/delegate nursing care per Nurse Practice Act; coordinate unit patient care activities.
• Lead and support nursing staff and ancillary personnel; participate in interdisciplinary care planning and education.
