Job summary

AdventHealth South Overland Park is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit. This full-time night-shift role focuses on coordinating care, leading a multidisciplinary team, and applying evidence-based nursing practices to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

The RN will provide direct patient care, assess and plan care using the nursing process, and maintain professional growth through ongoing learning and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing and Kansas RN license.
• No previous experience required.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
• ACLS must be provided by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the LDRP unit during night shifts.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and ensure patient safety.
• Apply nursing process from assessment to evaluation for optimal outcomes.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and hospital policies.
