Job summary

Responsibilities include medication administration, continuous assessment, documentation, and fetal monitoring during labor; post-partum support is part of the role. Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NRP within timelines are required.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license or eligible
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHAr) Upon Hire Required
• ACLS Provider within 90 days Required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) within 90 days Required

Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize patient and family needs; communicate plan of care with the team
• Safely administer medications and treatments; monitor patient responses
• Perform continuous patient assessment and alert care team of changes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care
• Collaborate with department staff to meet unit goals
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and ongoing education
• Assess and monitor mother and fetus during labor; document findings
• Provide nursing and emotional support during intrapartum and postpartum periods
