Job summary
Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery (LDRP) unit in a full‑time night position. You will provide comprehensive maternal/newborn care and coordinate with a specialized team to support families.
Required 1–2 years Med-Surg and Labor & Delivery experience, appropriate RN licensure, and BLS; NALS/NRP preferred. We offer competitive pay and a sign-on bonus in a supportive, faith‑based community hospital.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing required.
- 1-2 years Med-Surg and Labor/Delivery experience required.
- RN license as prerequisite; BLS required; NALS preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient needs using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
- Organize and supervise care provided by supportive personnel.
- Coordinate care with ancillary services.
- Include patients and families in developing individualized care plans.
- Serve as patient advocate in newborn nursery and postpartum units.
