Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN to join our LDRP team at Baptist Medical Center South. This full-time night position focuses on providing nursing care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum settings, including mother/baby couplets, with patient advocacy and evidence-based practice.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of medical-surgical nursing with L&D, newborn nursery, and mother/baby experience.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience.
• Labor and Delivery Experience.
• Newborn Nursery Experience.
• Mother/Baby Nursing Experience.
• Licensed Registered Nurse required.
• Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) are required; ACLS, NRP, and RNC EFM are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide for patient needs as recognized through the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Organize and supervise care provided by supportive personnel.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
• Include patients and families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Serve as patient advocate and provide nursing care in newborn nursery and postpartum units.

We Are Looking For An Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) To Join Our LDRP Team In Jacksonville, FL. This Is a Full-Time Night Position In Our Labor And Delivery Unit At Baptist Medical Center South As a Labor And Delivery RN You Will
Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement
Organize and supervision care provided by supportive personnel
Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing and individualized plan of care
Serve as the patient advocate and responsible for nursing care in newborn nursery and postpartum units including, but not limited to, caring for the antepartum patient, high risk postpartum patient and the mother/baby couplet
